Team West Indies is currently playing a series with India and due to the purpose, they are visiting India. It seems that BCCI has arranged a dual tournament at the home venue. They have already played a Test series that consisted of two matches. India won both matches and so, it seems that West Indies already faced a whitewash there. Now, they are heading to the of ODI series. Already four matches of the ODI series ended and India is leading the series by 2 – 1 game. India won two matches and faced defeat once. One match ended with a tie. Now, the last match of ODI series is ahead which will take place on 1st November 2018. India has a chance to win ODI series against West Indies but West Indies can draw the series if they would able to win the fifth match.
In the 4th ODI, which took place in 29th October, 2018 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai team India won by 224 runs. Local team India won the toss and decided to bat first at the beginning. They scored 377 runs where two of their players made century each in the match. Rohit Sharma scored 162 runs and Rayudu scored 100 runs so far.
Based on their score, team India presented 377 runs in exchange for five wickets against West Indies. Kemar Roach took two wickets so far. In return, West Indies faced batting collapsed by chasing such a big score. They getting all out scoring 153 runs so far. Jason Holder scored highest 54 runs unbeaten in the match. Khaleel Ahmed took three wickets in exchange for 13 runs for India.
India started the innings very well. Openers added 71 runs when Dhawan was gone with 38 runs. Captain Kohli did not play good in the match and scored only 16 runs so far. Rayudu and Sharma made a partnership that added more than 200 runs to the scoreboard.
Sharma was gone with 162 runs where he faced 137 balls. He made twenty 4’s and four 6’s there. Later, Rayudu also made century and faced 81 balls so far. By losing five wickets team India scored 377 runs so far. Bowlers off West Indes were quite expensive in the match.
Later, West Indies came to chase the score but they started very poorly. In 20 runs, three wickets of them were gone. They started to lose wickets regularly since then. Just captain Holder played well and remained not out till the last. He scored highest 54 runs so far. rest players added few more runs and so, the innings of West Indies ended with scoring 153 runs so far.
