Jurgen Klopp is the current head coach of the Champions League titleholder, Liverpool. Under his leading, the Reds has become one of the strongest clubs in Europe right now. His team has all three effective sections right now. They have a defence which is led by the Dutch captain Van Dijk and in the attacking section, they have Salah-Mane-Firmino. Now, in the ongoing season of Premier League, the team has not stumbled yet but Klopp’s Liverpool made history in Premier League. In the new season of the EPL, they are moving with amazing speed and as the first team in the Premier League history, they have won first six rounds in the consecutive two seasons.

At Chelsea’s home venue Stamford Bridge, earlier today, the Reds faced the Blues. In the match, the team of Klopp went ahead by the goal of Alexander-Arnold and later, the goal difference was increased by Firmino in the first half. In the 2ndb half, N’Golo Kante reduced the goal difference but could not stop the Reds winning-streak. The last time Premier League runners-up team Liverpool won by a 2 – 1 goal against Chelsea. Along with that, they have made history.

The team Liverpool started the new season of the English Premier League by winning against Norwich City by a 4 – 1 goal. They faced in their next four rounds Southampton, Arsenal, Burnley and Newcastle United. All four times, the Reds beat their opponents. In the last season of the EPL, the team of Klopp faced West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove, Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton in their first six rounds. 

In their 7th round, the made the draw against Chelsea by a 1 – 1 goal and their winning-streak were broken. In the season of 2018/19, Liverpool was defeated just once. At the end of the season-ending, the Reds managed 30 victories and seven draws. They gathered 97 points. But, Manchester City managed one more point than the Reds and became the champion.

And this time, Liverpool has a chance to increase their winning streak. With the six victories, the Reds have gathered 18 points and holding the top position on the point table. In their next round, the Reds will play against Sheffield United and that will be also their away match.
