Zimbabwe cricket team is currently out of top ten ranked considering ICC ODI and T20I ranking and so, they are desperate to get their rank back. They were scheduled to play a dal tournament abroad and due to that proposed, the visited South Africa. In there, the will play an ODI series and a T20I series against the local team Proteas. Though South Africa is the comparatively better than the number of teams in the World and they are always regarded as one of the top-rated team so far. The played the series against Zimbabwe as the preparation of their upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. They have already confirmed their place in upcoming World Cup 2019. The tournament against Zimbabwe has recently finished and in the tournament, South Africa Squad Seal T20 Series against Zimbabwe.

South Africa Squad Seal T20 Series against ZimbabweEarlier, the played an ODI series against Zimbabwe as well and in the series, South Africa whitewashed the guest team by 3 – 0 games. Team South Africa is led by D Plessis and team Zimbabwe is led by Masakadza.

In 30th September 2019 the dal competition started with ODI series and in the match, Proteas won by 5 wickets. In 3rd October 2018, the 2nd ODI took place and there, Proteas won by 120 runs. In the October 2018 the 3rd ODI between them was hosted and in there Proteas won by 4 wickets so far.

After facing defeat in ODI series, Zimbabwe started the T20I competition in 9th October 2018. The wanted to win a single match in T20I series and also the played well there. The 1st T20I took place at Buffalo Park, East London in 9th October 2018 where Proteas won the toss and decided to bat first. Came to bat, the scored 160 runs in exchange for six wickets.

Gihahn Cloete and Rassie van der Dussen made their T20I debut and in the debut match, Rassie van der Dussen scored highest 56 runs so far. Team Zimbabwe came to chase the score bt in 17.2 overs the lost all wickets. The scored total 126 runs there. Peter Moor scored 44 runs highest. Imran Tahir simple destroyed the batting lineup of Zimbabwe. He took 5 wickets so far.

In the 2nd T20I match, Zimbabwe won the toss and also presented a big score there. Sean Williams scored 41 runs highest for the team. In 20 overs, team Zimbabwe played 132 runs in exchange for seven wickets. The match took place on 12th October 2018 at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. Team Proteas chased the score quite successful.

The needed to play 15.4 overs and lost 4 wickets total. Duminy remained not out with 33 runs so far. So, the confirmed the series b playing first two games so far. In 14th October 2018 the 3rd game was about to play but due to rain, the match was abandoned. So, South Africa won the T20I series by 2 – 0 games.
