Indian Premier League or simply IPL is the largest and most competitive T20 league cricket competition which is organized by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It was founded in 2008 and in the same year, the first season of IPL took place. Indian Premier League is also known as Vivo IPL due to the sponsorship reason. Already eleven seasons of Vivo IPL have passed successfully and in the meantime, the most successful team in IPL is Chennai Super Kings. They won the jointly highest three titles of IPL already along with Mumbai Indians. Rajasthan Royals Vs Chennai Super Kings (Final 2008)
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals played the final of IPL first season which took place on the 1st June 2008. RR won the toss and decided to bowl first. Patel and Vidyut started the innings for CSK.
Openers added 39 runs where Vidyut was gone with 16 runs. In the CSK innings, Patel scored 38 runs and Raina scored highest 43 runs so far. In 20 overs, they scored 163 runs losing 5 wickets so far. The opening of was not so good but based on the performance of middle orders, they did chase the score successfully.
Asnodkar scored 28 runs and Pathan scored highest 56 runs so far. They also had to play complete 20 overs and lost seven wickets. In the meantime, team RR scored 164 runs so far.
Deccan Chargers Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (Final 2009)
Deccan Chargers was a franchise team in IPL but however, the team is no longer take part in the recent seasons IPL. They also played in final of IPL and in the season of 2009, Deccan Chargers played final against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The final of the 2nd season of IPL took place on 24th May 2009 RCB won the toss and decided to bowl first. So, DC came to bat and scored 143 runs in exchange for six wickets in selected 20 overs. Later, RCB came to chase the score but failed. They scored 137 runs so far. So, DC won by 6 runs so far.

Chennai Super Kings Vs Mumbai Indians (Final 2010)
Chennai Super Kings reached the IPL final 2nd time in 2010. It was the 3rd season of IPL where CSK played the final against Mumbai Indians. CSK won the toss and elected to bat in the match.
It took place on 25th April 2010. CSK started to bat at the beginning. They scored 168 runs in exchange for five wickets so far. They also played complete 20 overs there where their top scorer was Raina and he remained not out with 57 runs.
Mumbai Indians failed to chase the score though they played 20 overs so far. They scored total 146 runs where Tendulkar was the top scorer and scored 48 runs. It was the 1st title of Chennai Super Kings.
Chennai Super Kings Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (Final 2011)
Chennai Super Kings played the IPL final for the 3rd times in 2011. This time their opponent team was Royal Challengers Bangalore. In 28th May 2011, the final of IPL executed where CSK came to bat by winning the toss.
Openers played very extraordinarily and added 159 runs jointly. Hussey scored 63 runs and Vijay scored 95 runs so far. By losing five wickets team CSK scored 205 runs in selected 20 overs for CSK. The opponent bowlers were quite expensive in the match.
The score was too big for RCB and they were not able to chase the score. They lost eight wickets and scored 147 runs in 20 overs. Their top scorer was Tiwary and he scored undefeated 42 runs so far. So, CSK won by 58 runs in 2011 IPL final so far.
Kolkata Knight Riders Vs Chennai Super Kings (Final 2012)
Chennai Super Kings is the most successful team in IPL and they played the 4th times in IPL final in 2012. In the final, their opponent was Kolkata Knight Riders. On 27th May 2018, the final of 2012 IPL took place and CSK won the toss and decided to bat first. They also played so well and openers did their job successfully.
Hussey scored 54 runs and Vijay scored 42 runs so far. Raina remained not out with 73 runs highest. Based on their performances, team CSL scored 190 runs in selected 20 overs. They lost only three wickets in the meantime.
Though opening partnership of KKR was not so good one opener Bisla played well and scored 89 runs highest. Another player Kallis scored 69 runs and so, in 19.4 overs team, KKR reached the destination. They won by 5 wickets and got their first IPL title so far.
Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings (Final 2013)
Once again Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians played IPL final in 2013. It was the 2nd head to head battle between CSK and MI in IPL final. Team MI won the toss and decided to bat first.
They presented a good score in front of CSK. Pollard scored highest 60 runs and Rayudu scored 37 runs for MI. They scored 148 runs in exchange for nine wickets so far.
Later, CSK failed to chase the score and this time Vijay and Hussey were completely flopped and so, the team suffered. Captain Dhoni scored 63 runs unbeaten in the match but losing nine wickets team CSK scored 125 runs in 20 overs so far. It was the 1st title of Mumbai Indians in IPL.
Kolkata Knight Riders Vs Kings XI Punjab (Final 2014)
Kolkata Knight Riders played their 2nd final of IPL on 2014 band this time CSK did not make it to the final. The opponent finalist was Kings XI Punjab. On 1st June 2014, the final of IPL 2014 took place and KKR won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Vohra and Saha played extremely well where Saha made a century there and scored unbeaten 115 runs so far. Vohra scored 67 runs. By losing four wickets team Kings XI Punjab scored 199 runs so far. The score was more than expected and they thought to win the first title of IPL this time but all hopes were gone later.
KKR was able to chase the score where Pandey scored 94 runs and top orders did their job. So, in 19.3 overs team, KKR reached the target and scored 200 runs losing seven wickets so far. It was the 2nd title of KKR in IPL.

Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings (Final 2015)
For the 3rd time, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians played against each other in IPL final in 2015. It was the six final appearances of CSK and 3rd appearances of MI in IPL final.
However, CSK won the toss and decided to bowl first in the match which took place in 24th May 2015. Mumbai Indians scored 202 runs in selected 20 overs where Simmons scored 68 runs, Sharma scored 50 runs, Pollard and Rayudu scored 36 runs each so far. Chennai Super Kings tried but failed to chase the big score.
They scored 161 runs losing eight wickets so far. Smith scored 57 runs highest for the team CSK. So, team MI won by 41 runs in IPL 2015 final.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (Final 2016)
Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore faced against each other in 2016 IPL final. On 29th May 2016 the final match of IPL took place where Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first.
Based on the performances of a couple of players, team Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 208 runs in exchange for seven wickets in the match. Warner scored highest 69 runs so far. On the other side, RCB was led by Kohli and they also played well.
But unfortunately failed to finish the match well. They scored 200 runs where Gayle scored 76 runs and Kohli scored 54 runs so far. So, in the end, Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 8 runs against RCB and got their first title of IPL.
Mumbai Indians Vs Rising Pune Supergiant (Final 2017)
Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant played IPL final in 2017. It was the 4th IPL final appearances of Mumbai Indians and in 21st May 2017, the final took place.
Team MI won the toss and decided to bat first. They played complete 20 overs and scored 129 runs so far. Pandya scored highest 47 runs for the team. The score was not so big but their bowling line-up was quite strong and they tied the innings of the opponent.
Rahane and Smith played well for the team RPSG but scored 128 runs totally. So, they were faced defeat by just 1 run against Mumbai Indians so far.
Chennai Super Kings Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (Final 2018)
Chennai Super Kings returned to the spotlight in 2018 season of IPL. They reached the final of the tournament and faced Sunrisers Hyderabad. CSK won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Sunrisers Hyderabad came to bat and scored 178 runs so far. Williamson scored 47 runs and Pathan scored 45 runs for the team. On the other hand, team CSK successfully chased 178 runs.
They played 18.3 overs and reached the destination. Watson scored 117 runs highest for the team CSK. It was the 3rd title of Chennai Super Kings in IPL.
