In 12th October 2018 the 2nd Test between West Indies and India started where Windies won the toss and decided to bat first. The faced defeat in the 1st Test against India and now, desperate to win the 2nd test to avoid the series defeat. The had no choice but to win the 2nd test and so, they were able to draw the series. The test series consisted of two matches and earlier, the also played a warm-up match against Indian Board President’s XI and the match ended with the draw. Now, in the 2nd test local team India got an easy victor and so, it has been told that India confirmed Test series at Hyderabad. So, now team India won the Test series b 2 – 0 games. They have whitewashed team West Indies in Test competition.

Team West Indies is visiting India in recent time and the will play a complete series out there. The have played a Test series and now, the have ODI series and T20I series ahead. The ODI series consists of five matches and T20I series consists of three matches so far.

2nd Test started in 12th October 2018 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad and in the match, Indian player Shardul Thakur made his Test debut. West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first in the match.

Brathwaite started to bat with Powell. But opening partnership did not go well. In 32 runs, Powell was gone scoring 22 runs. Brathwaite scored 14 runs so far. Hope added 36 runs. If we consider the top scorers there, Chase made a century and made the score bigger than expected.

He scored 106 runs. Captain Holder also played well and added 52 runs so far. They played full first day and the first session of the 2nd day. The played 101.4 overs and scored 311 runs total by losing all wickets.

Yadav took six wickets highest where Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets for India team. Now, team India came to bat for the first innings. A couple of Indian players played big innings but no one could make century there. Shaw scored 70 runs, Rahane scored 80 runs and Pants scored 92 runs highest for the team. They scored 367 runs in the first innings and lost all wickets. Captain Kohli added 45 runs so far.

In the 2nd innings, team West Indies faced batting collapsed and scored 127 runs and lost all wickets. India easily chased the scored and lost no wickets so far. So, team India won by 10 wickets against West Indies in the 2nd Test.
